I try to provide goats milk year round. The herd is mainly Lamancha with a couple of Nubians and I’m slowly bringing Saanen back into the mix. I currently provide via Herdshares but am also working on getting my pet food license. Milk may be picked up from the farm or I make a couple of meet up spots in Carthage and Lebanon. The herd is pasture based (grass, weeds that they like, and woods for variety) but hay is provided 24/7. Grain on the milkstand. Medications as needed but anyone treated gets their milk dumped for recommended amount of time. I have one Jersey cow. Her milk is limited to her normal lactation curve. I don’t separate the milk from the cream so you’ll be able to utilize my girls milk in a variety of ways. It is fresh and raw.

A wide assortment of dairy products is available at this market including raw Jersey cow milk (by herdshare), raw Alpine dairy goat milk (by herdshare), raw goat milk (pet milk), and assorted goat milk cheeses, such as chevre and feta. Sheep milk cheeses of all types are available from soft to hard cheeses, such as chevre, halloumi, manchego, feta, and many other styles.

Twin Hills Farm & Co has a closed herd of purebred Nubian goats that are fed pastured grass, alfalfa, and organic, NON-GMO feed. Rotationally grazed for better health, and only given antibiotics when absolutely necessary. Milk is tested monthly for somatic cell count and every goat is tested annually for CAE, CL and John's disease. Raw goat milk available through herdshare contract ONLY per KY raw milk laws.
